Bodegas Platé production process:
After the arrival of the fruit in the warehouse, a second selection is made, following which the fruits are sorted and cleaned one by one by hand.
Once cleaned, they are placed in a mixer that finely grinds all the pulp and yeast is added at the end (the same yeasts used in winemaking).
The next process is the fermentation process that takes place in stainless steel tanks. (In the same tanks where the wine is fermented)
Once the desired density is reached, the fermentation is stopped, the product is filtered and clarified (the filter is used for vinification as well as the clarifier).
Once clarified, the drink is bottled in bottles with ecological properties, due to its low weight, the carbon footprint is much smaller from production, transport and recycling.
The whole process of obtaining the finished product, from the moment the raw material arrives in the warehouse until it is bottled, is between three and four months.
